The 2021 Istanbul Film Awards IFA honors David Serero in recognition of excellence in filmmaking
Opera singer, director, and producer David Serero is honored at the Istanbul Film Awards for his most recent production of « Say So » by Doja Cat, which he recently adapted, arranged, and produced in a French Jazz version. David Serero is awarded in recognition of excellence in filmmaking by the Istanbul Film Awards 2021.
He later posted, « Thank you so much for this incredible honor; I can't wait to come to visit Istanbul and all my brothers and sisters of Turkey. I had the privilege to meet and watch amazing performances by Turkish filmmakers and actors. It's on my bucket list to do right after the health crisis ends. ».
The Istanbul Film Awards (IFA) has been awarding filmmakers, actors, directors, and producers for several years. His director Tarik Tanrisever has built a whole diversity of filmmakers worldwide and from different backgrounds.
David Serero won several awards earlier this year, including 4 BroadwayWorld Awards and the Certificate of Recognition of the City of New York for his essential contribution to the cultural and performing arts sector.
He recently completed his new Broadway musical is "Scarface, The Al Capone Musical," and a feature documentary about fashion designer Elie Tahari.

Who is David Serero?
David Serero is a critically acclaimed and awards-winner opera singer, actor, director, and producer. He has performed more than 2,500 performances in more than 45 countries, directed and produced nearly 100 theatrical productions, starred in over 100 films and TV series, recorded and produced over 100 albums, and, played more than 50 lead and title roles (in several languages) from the opera, theatre, and musical repertoire.
