Prolific Opera singer, Actor, Director, and Producer David Serero has been nominated for several 2020 BroadwayWorld Awards for the Region of New York. On November 24, 2020, BroadwayWorld announced the prestigious BroadwayWorld Awards 2020 nomination results.
The 2020 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards Worldwide is bigger this year than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade. BroadwayWorld local editors have set the categories, readers have submitted nominees, and the audience gets to vote. TodayTix presents the 2020 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards. Eligibility is for productions that opened between 2011 and September 30, 2020.

He entered the prestigious WHO'S WHO AMERICA for demonstrating outstanding achievements in the entertainment world and for the betterment of contemporary society. In 2019, he received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, the Morocco Day Distinguished Achievement Award, and the Trophy of the Culture of Morocco. Morocco's airline, Royal Air Maroc, named him among the fifteen most influential Moroccans worldwide.
